About the site
Meta Computing is a technology site with a difference. It was started in April of 2007 by two first year Bsc Network management and design students to try and solve the problems that we were being continuely asked by other students. Meta Computing really tries to be helpful and all the guides are written in an easy read and easy to understand manner.
This site has a strong philosophy of creating standard complement and easy to use pages. So that the loads fast, the site is all valid XHTML, CSS and RSS. The site was designed using Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks.
About authors
Jonathan Harris
Jonathan is the designer of this site. I am current studying my first year Bsc in Computer Network Management and Design at the Univerisity of Portsmouth. I also have an A-levels in Computing science and Information and Communications Technology. So I know a thing or two about computers and technology. I mostly did all the coding for this site and the general layout. I am very proud of how the site turned out. I was really happy in the way that I could create a MySQL based posting system that allows for dynamic listings. It allows me to do cool thinks like generate feeds.
